What Does Personal Data Protection Mean?

What are the principles of the Personal Data Protection Law?
The Draft Law on the Protection of Personal Data was submitted to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on January 18, 2016 under the name of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, was accepted by the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on March 24, 2016 and became law, and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated April 7, 2016.
The following principles must be adhered to when processing personal data:
a) Being in compliance with the law and the rules of integrity.
b) Being accurate and up-to-date when necessary.
c) Being processed for specific, clear and legitimate purposes.
ç) Being linked, limited and proportionate to the purpose for which they are processed.
d) Being stored for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or necessary for the purpose for which they are processed.
